All initiated members of Sigma Alpha Iota living in the South Florida area are welcome to attend social events and chapter meetings. Upon meeting our chapter members, and provided you are a member in good standing to the fraternity, you may affiliate with the Miami Alumnae & Patroness Chapter. Affiliations typically happen twice a year at our Formal Business Meetings.

Step 2: Join the National Alumnae Association by paying your annual $35 dues
Step 3: Affiliation Ceremony- Once you are a member in financial good standing with the fraternity, our VPM, Jennifer Perez will submit your affiliation request form to National Headquarters. Once approved, the chapter will invite you to your affiliation ceremony.

What is Alumnae Life Like?
If you are new to affiliating with an alumnae chapter, you may wonder how the experience will compare to your collegiate chapter. SAI Alumnae chapters are known to be less business oriented and flexible. Alumnae sisters cultivate relationships with one another that encourages our mutual growth and development at each stage of life.
We typically meet once a month, whether it be for business or social event. None of the events are mandatory, though we encourage members to attend as many as they can!
